A TRAILBLAZING five-level apartment and town house development for a site opposite the Warners Bay waterfront goes on the market today with others expected to follow.
The development of 23 luxury apartments and four tri-level town houses is designed by the same Queensland-based architect who helped produce Lake Macquarie City Council's urban design guidelines for Warners Bay.
The apartments and town houses to go on a site between Howard St and The Esplanade are being marketed for off-the-plan sales by Terry Kirk of Century 21 Stals and Kirk with price tags between $350,000 and $850,000.
The two houses on the site are due to be cleared by Christmas with work set to begin in February and take 11 months to complete.
Architect Peter Richards of Brisbane firm Deicke Richards Architects said yesterday there were `other sites in Warners Bay that will probably go to a similar height'.
Mr Richards said the development consisted of three buildings with varying views.
The first was a five-level apartment building with ground-level commercial space.
A three-storey mixed-use building with two levels of residential and commercial space on the ground floor would go in Howard St.
There were also four three-storey town houses with home offices on the ground level, living space in the centre and bedrooms on the top level.
